This was such a good edition to the Avalon Bay series. I’ll admit I went into it unsure how much I’d like Tate as a lead, but Tate and Cassie were great together.

This is a small-town, friends-to-lovers romance featuring a summer fling that is meant to be much more.

The main characters were great although some of the secondary characters, while necessary for conflict, were a bit difficult. I will say the Elle Kennedy has not shied away from strained parent-child relationships in this series!
