Heartbreak Hero is a dual POV romantic suspense novel. When Leo is assigned as Sue’s bodyguard, she falls head-over-heels for him, but he breaks her heart when he cuts ties. Leo thought he was protecting Sue by walking away, but six months later someone is threatening her to get to him. When Leo storms back into Sue’s life, determined to hide her away and protect her, she’s not sure what to think, but they’ll have to figure out their feelings on the run!

This was an enjoyable read and definitely made me curious to try more from this author! Although it’s book one in a series, I still felt at times like I was missing something, because apparently this series spun off of another one so there is some overlap. I really liked the representation for autism, anxiety, and ADHD, and overall thought this was a fun read!
